An anti-racism entrepreneur faces having her company liquidated after being taken to court by the British Film Institute (BFI) over an alleged debt of more than £200,000.
Alisha Hall is disputing a winding-up petition launched by the BFI and joined by The British Blacklist (TBB), a media platform for Black creatives.
The claim relates to agreements between the parties at the time of the glitzy London Film Festival in October 2021.
The entrepreneur, who wants to promote diversity and ‘rebalance’ society, was involved in a series of high-profile events at the festival, which was attended by Beyoncé and Jay Z.
The BFI launched the high court action over a sponsorship fee for the festival that it claims it is owed by the company director, who runs Hall Media Group and The Liberation Initiatives.
According to court documents seen by Metro.co.uk, the amount sought when the case was launched in August 2022 was £216,000 which the BFI alleges was not paid by the media group.
TBB claims it is owed money by the media firm director over a brunch to celebrate UK-based Black film and TV creatives during the festival.
The creative platform alleges that she did not supply the promised funds, so it had to foot the £35,000 bill upfront and was not reimbursed.
Hall disputes both sets of allegations, with a spokesperson for her company saying it is ‘extremely proud of the work we do for our marginalised communities in the UK’ and the BFI’s case is ‘without merit’.
The BFI is pursuing the winding-up petition in the Companies Court, the documents show. The case is understood to revolve around The Liberation Initiatives having been an official event partner along with major names including Netflix and Warner Bros.
The company’s involvement was to support a ‘number of key programmes’ and ‘make the festival more inclusive to underrepresented communities’, according to the BFI at the time.
To get the latest news from the capital visit Metro.co.uk's London news hub.
The 12-day showcase was given some star power as Beyoncé and Jay Z made a surprise appearance on the red carpet for the premiere of Idris Elba and Regina King’s movie The Harder They Fall.
In a statement, the BFI said: ‘Proceedings against Hall Media Group Limited in respect of sums owed to the BFI are ongoing and it would be inappropriate to comment whilst those proceedings remain live.’
Hall, 41, founded the Liberation Initiatives in July 2020 as the Black Lives Matters movement swept the US and the UK after the death of George Floyd at the hands of four police officers.
She told the SheerLuxe lifestyle website at the time that ‘In light of this year’s Black Lives Matter movement, finally the world is listening to us’.
The Liberation Initiatives says on its website that it is ‘making activism approachable and accessible’ and its mission is to ‘re-balance the state of diversity, equality and inclusion in today’s society’.
The business is registered as dormant at Companies House.
A spokesperson for Hall Media Group said: ‘We are extremely proud of the work we do for marginalised communities in the UK, and the support we have provided over the years to a variety of community groups, Black entrepreneurs, and creatives.
‘In light of the legal process underway, it would be inappropriate to comment further other than to say we do not believe the BFI’s complaint has merit and we look forward to making our case in court.’
In winding-up petitions, an official receiver is put in charge of the liquidation if the application is successful.
The company’s assets are then turned into funds to reimburse creditors.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z might have 99 problems (or less) but housing ain’t one.
The star couple are record-breakers, and this time, they’ve smashed one thanks to their latest real estate purchase.
The 41-year-old pop superstar and her rapper husband have a reported combined net worth of $2.5billion (£2bn) and apparently spent an eye-watering $200million (£160m) on a 30,000-square-foot home in the ‘prime area’ of Malibu.
The sale has been called the ‘most expensive’ house ever sold in the state of California. The Bonnie & Clyde hitmakers busted the previous record of a $177m (£142m) price tag paid previously by Netscape co-founder Marc Andreessen.
TMZ reported the duo got an ‘unbelievable deal’ for their new digs. It’s the second most expensive real estate deal in the country – the top being $238m (£191m) for an NYC apartment.
‘The home was listed for a whopping $295m,’ a source told the outlet. The star couple are said to have bought the mansion from art collector William Bell.
The source claimed their new luxurious Malibu estate, said to have been designed by self-taught Pritzker Prize-winning Japanese architect Tadao Ando, has stunning views overlooking the Pacific Ocean in an area appropriately known as Billionaires Row.
Ando is in high demand in elite star circles it seems – he’s also behind the plush pad currently being built for Kim Kardashian’s rapper ex-husband Kanye West.
The Crazy In Love hitmaker, currently in London to perform a series of Tottenham stadium dates for her anticipated Renaissance World Tour, is known for splashing her hard-earned cash on luxury housing.
The songstress is also said to own a Bel-Air mansion with her husband, 53, bought in 2017 for a cool $88m (£70m) – it now has a reported value of more than $100m.
The power couple clearly wants plenty of room (and then some) for their family – they are parents to Blue Ivy, 11, and five-year-old twins Sir and Rumi. Also in 2017, they reportedly purchased a 12,000-square-foot mansion in the Hamptons with a (slightly cheaper) price tag of $26m (£20m).
Safe to say there’ll be plenty of legroom for everyone in their new family home.

Jay-Z has finally weighed in on the age-old question of, would you rather get $500,000 or go to lunch with him – and his answer might surprise you.
Over the years, fans have speculated whether the cash is worth more than an uninterrupted private meal with the rap icon, 53, where they would have the chance to pick his brain about anything they wanted.
During a sit-down interview with Gayle King, which is due to air on CBS Mornings this week, the musician vowed that everyone should take the money and run.
‘You’ve got to take the money. What am I going to say?,’ he said with a smile in the clip obtained by People Magazine.
When Gayle explained that many were convinced that they would receive priceless pearls of wisdom from the rapper that money couldn’t achieve, Jay insisted that his methods are all out there in his songs – as well as his 2001 album, the Blueprint.
‘Because you got all that in the music for $10.99,’ he continued. ‘That’s a bad deal. I wouldn’t tell you to cut a bad deal.
‘Take the $500,000, go buy some albums and listen to the albums. It’s all there.
‘If you piece it together and really listen to the music for the words, for what it is, it’s all there. Everything that I said was going to happen, happened. Everything that I said I wanted to do, I’ve done, and there’s the blueprint.
‘The blueprint – literally – to me and my life and my journey is there already.’
He does have a point…
Someone that might take the offer of a lunch anyway is Britney Spears, who publicly reached out to suggest they get in the studio together soon.
The Toxic singer, who is set to release her memoir this week, recently shared a video on Instagram, showing her dancing around her living room to Beyonce’s iconic track, Daddy Lessons.

While we were all distracted by the fact that the pop icon already has her Christmas decorations up, she took the opportunity to shoot her shot with Jay.
‘So many people have done remixes to my songs without my knowledge,’ she penned. ‘So I guess it’s safe to say I will be redoing this song eventually!!!
‘Just need to meet Jay-Z and add a rap to it… What’s up???’
While the music mogul didn’t reply publicly, we’re hoping that they already have the studio time locked in.

It’s almost a decade later but Beyonce fans are still dying to know exactly what went down between Jay Z and Solange Knowles in the elevator after the Met Gala.
Somehow, they think Beyonce’s nephew – and son of Solange Knowles – has all the answers and questioned him accordingly.
The short black-and-white clip clearly showed Solange shouting at her longtime brother-in-law before hitting and kicking him.
A security guard stepped in to prise the Cranes In The Sky singer away but, perhaps the most shocking aspect of the whole incident was just how calm Beyonce remained throughout the whole ordeal, barely moving despite the blows Solange was throwing at her husband across her face.
Solange’s son Julez, 18, – full name Daniel Julez J Smith Jr – indulged fans in a Q&A on TikTok and answered all the juicy questions they had, even the most intrusive ones.
When one follower asked the teen outright ‘what happened in the elevator?’, Julez responded in a video: ‘You know me, you know I don’t speak on my family. That’s for y’all to find out. Anything about my family is for y’all to find out somewhere else but it ain’t from me.’
Another inquiring mind wondered: ‘Do you and Beyonce text lol?’ to which Julez said: ‘I feel like everybody text they aunt, I don’t look at it as… of course but that’s just my aunty. Just like how your aunty is just your aunty,’ clearly not phased by his aunt’s superstar status.
With Julez spilling virtually no tea about the iconic elevator situation, one fan joked: ‘Mason would tell us without even having to ask….,’ referring to Kourtney Kardashian’s son Mason who once started telling family business on social media before being banned.
Another laughed: ‘Boooooo we like Mason better. He spils the family tea [sic]!!!! 😂😂😂😂 nah but I respect this young man for not exploiting the family drama. Good job King!’
Disappointed with the lack of answers, one quipped referring to Beyonce’s loyal bodyguard: ‘Y’all we gotta ask Julius what happened.’
However, the power couple have mentioned the shocking incident in their music, with Beyonce famously singing on her Flawless remix: ‘Of course sometimes s**t go down / when it’s a billion dollars on an elevator.’
She also warns on her Renaissance track Cozy: ‘Might I suggest you don’t f**k with my sis (ooh) / ’Cause she comfortable.’
The trio addressed the incident in a joint statement at the time, which said: ‘As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it.
‘Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologised to each other, and we have moved forward as a united family.’
The statement continued: ‘The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behaviour throughout that evening are simply false. At the end of the day families have problems, and we’re no different. We love each other, and above all, we are family. We’ve put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.’

Tributes have been flooding in for legendary music producer DJ Mark The 45 King following his death.
The celebrated producer, real name Mark Howard James, died on Thursday at the age of 62.
His manager confirmed the sad news, however no further details on his death have so far been released.
James was part of the mastermind behind some culturally iconic songs, from Eminem’s Stan to Jay-Z’s Hard Knock Life, with both stars paying tribute to the ‘legend’ of a producer.
He wrote: ‘Legends are never over. #RIP Mark Howard James aka the 45 King … I’m 4ever grateful!!!’
And 99 Problems legend Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, shared a touching tribute declaring James had ‘changed my life.’
Jay said: ‘Thank you Mark. Your instrumentals, namely ‘The 900 Number,’ were more memorable than our whole albums. You gave me a canvas to have a conversation with the world!!
‘You changed my life. Even when the life is short, the art is long!!’
James’ track The 900 Number, which helped inspire Jay-Z, was released in 1987, has been given new life time and time again in being sampled by newer artists.
Public Enemy, Chad Jackson, Ced Gee, Breakestra and DJ Kool are among the countless musicians who made the track their own.
Following the success of The 900 Number, James went on to join hip-hop crew Flavour Unit, which included multiple major artists such as Queen Latifah and Apache.
He went on to produce for a diverse set of stars, from Eminem and Jay-Z to Madonna and Salt-N-Pepa.

The popstar, 41, pitched her business move to Beyonce’s husband Jay Z, 53, in the caption and suggested: ‘So many people have done remixes to my songs without my knowledge … so I guess it’s safe to say I will be redoing this song eventually !!!
‘Just need to meet Jay-Z and add a rap to it … what’s up ???’
Britney’s idea of working with the legendary rapper on a remix might not be so far-fetched as fans were loving the possibility.
‘I can actually hearing this work and it being cute af,’ one fan tweeted supportively.
Another quipped: ‘The collab that will save us all.’
‘Imagine the energy Britney and Beyoncé would bring to a collaboration! It would be a musical powerhouse. I hope they come together soon and surprise us all,’ one wrote enthusiastically.
One other chimed in: ‘They really could’ve collaborated in the 2000s, they were both in their prime and it would’ve been a great moment.’
However, others were keen to keep Britney’s feet on the ground as one warned her: ‘Idk if it’s gonna happen, Britney…’
Beyonce, 42, is known to be a fan of Britney as she included a brief sample of the popstar’s hit Toxic on her Renaissance tour, which came to an end earlier this month.
However, one questioned whether Britney’s comment about others remixing her song ‘without [her] knowledge was a shot at Beyonce.
‘I feel like this is shade for Beyoncé sampling toxic on tour lmao,’ they wondered.
Another agreed: ‘Beyoncé for using Toxic on tour.. I guess no one reached out to tell her?’
In the meantime, fans are wondering just why Britney already has her Christmas tree up more than two months before Christmas.
While dancing to Beyonce’s tune, the Toxic singer stood in front of a very tall Christmas tree decorated with ornaments and fairy lights. While some fans could understand why Britney would want to inject a bit of Christmas cheer into her home, others feel it’s just too soon to get into the festive spirit.

The suit alleges that Lizzo, real name Melissa Jefferson, pressured one of them to touch a nude performer at a club and ‘called attention’ to a performer’s weight gain.
Lizzo denies the claims and said in her response that she was ‘hurt’ by the allegations made against her.
The allegations have led to Lizzo losing over 200,000 followers on her social media as fans distance themselves from the About Damn Time singer.
Alongside Lizzo and SZA, artists such as Ice Spice, Miguel, and Lil Yachty were also set to perform.
A statement released on the festival’s social media read: ‘Due to severe circumstances outside of production control, the 2023 Made in America festival will no longer be taking place.
‘This decision has been difficult and has not been made lightly nor without immense deliberation. Made in America has a legacy of delivering exceptional experiences for music fans and concertgoers, and it is our commitment to always deliver a top-tier festival experience.
‘We look forward to returning to Benjamin Franklin Parkway and the great city of Philadelphia in 2024. All ticket holders will be refunded at original point of purchase.’
Made in America has taken place over Labor Day weekend in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, since 2012 when it was headlined by founder Jay Z.
A second location was added in 2014 and the Philadelphia show has gone ahead every year other than 2020 since its inception.
Metro has contacted Lizzo and Made In America’s representatives for comment.

OJ Simpson has a bone to pick with Jay Z after the rap legend wrote a song about him five years ago.
The former NFL player was infamously on trial for the double murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman, who were both slain outside her California home in 1995.
Simpson, 75, was controversially acquitted but found liable for both deaths in a 1997 civil lawsuit.
The retired sports star, nicknamed The Juice, later became embroiled in further legal issues and was sentenced to 33 years in prison after being found guilty of a Las Vegas robbery. He was released in 2017 after serving almost nine years.
The same year he was freed from prison, Jay Z – real name Shawn Carter – released the song The Story of OJ, written about Simpson’s infamous ‘Trial of the Century’, which featured on his 4:44 album.
At one point, Jay Z, 53, raps: ‘OJ like, “I’m not Black, I’m OJ” …okay.’
It refers to Simpson reportedly muttering to his lawyer Jonnie Cochran: ‘I’m not Black, I’m OJ,’ as the trial raised conversations about his privilege as a popular celebrity, but also his position as a Black man and the strained relationship between the African-American community in Los Angeles and the police.
Sharing his thoughts on the song five years later, Simpson said in a video shared by fashion designer Augustus Lymon: ‘Well, first of all, [Jay Z] didn’t say it right.
‘When Johnnie [Cochran] was talking to me about it, and all that was going on was “Black, Black, Black”, I said man, f**k being Black, this is me. This is about O.J. You know? It wasn’t about Black or white. It was about, “These guys were after me”. So that’s how that was expressed.’
What do you think of Jay Z’s song about OJ?Comment Now
He added: ‘It wasn’t about, you know, “I’m not Black”. It was about, this ain’t about being Black, this is about me.’
However, many pointed out that Simpson validated Jay Z’s point – that Simpson didn’t view himself based on his race as a Black man during the trial, but by his status as a celebrity.
‘He’s literally making Jay Z point,’ one commented on Instagram, while another reacted: ‘So basically, Jay Z said it right.’
One other agreed: ‘He just validated everything Jay meant.’
Sharing their thoughts, one commentator weighed in: ‘He said his piece and gave clarification(OJ) but it wasn’t that deep either way this song was from 5 years ago Jay over it atp lol.’
Simpson enjoys weighing in on pop culture events occasionally and recently defended Gwyneth Paltrow after she found herself on trial over a ski crash.

A man alleging to be the secret love child of Jay-Z has filed a court order attempting to force him to take a DNA test, it has been claimed.
Rymir Satterthwaite, 30, has insisted that he wants nothing from the Empire State of Mind rapper, who is currently married to Beyonce, other than to be acknowledged.
According to DailyMail.com, he alleged that his late mother, Wanda, was in an on-off relationship with another man when she had sex with the billionaire mogul in 1992, when she was 16 and he was 22.
By the time he was born the following July, their short-lived romance had ended, and she had listed her childhood sweetheart – Robert Graves – as his father on his birth certificate.
He claimed that his mom told him that the 53-year-old, real name Shawn Carter, is his real dad at the age of eight, and he has spent years trying to prove it.
Earlier this year, his motion to get the court documents unsealed was rejected by the New Jersey Supreme Court.
The outlet reports that he has now moved to re-file this with the Appellate Division of the New Jersey Superior Court, and it is currently being considered.
Wanda reportedly requested that both Jay and Robert take a paternity test in Pennsylvania in 2010, where it was proved that the latter had no biological relation to her son and his name was removed from the birth certificate – which is now said to be blank under ‘father’.
In 2011, his godmother, Lillie Coley, is thought to have approached Jay’s legal team and requested that he undergo a DNA test in New Jersey, where they were based at the time, and they pursued legal action the following year.
Rymir alleged that the superstar’s team has attempted to subvert the legal system to avoid the paternity test, and took his efforts to the Supreme Court – with the documents reportedly seen by the outlet.
The publication reports that they initially argued that the case was filed in Pennsylvania and should be heard there – before stating that it should be dismissed altogether because Rymir was over the age of 18 when it was filed, and local law stipulates that paternity must be established before adulthood.
When the court ruled that the case should be held in New Jersey, the 99 Problems star’s lawyers successfully argued that he owns no property in the area and suggested it should be dismissed.
They later won an appeal when it could not be proved that a ‘Shawn Carter’ listed on housing documents was the same person.
Rymir has since reportedly sued Jay for civil damages in 2015, and submitted several civil rights complaints to Judge Glenn A Grant, the New Jersey Attorney General, the Governor, multiple senators and the Judicial Conduct Board of New Jersey every year between 2017 – 2022, which were all dismissed.
In February, he presented a new motion with the New Jersey Supreme Court, requesting that court documents relating to the case are unsealed so that he can get his due process – something that has also been rejected.
It has been claimed that he has now re-filed this with the Appellate Division of the New Jersey Superior Court, where his request is currently being considered.
‘This is not going to be over until justice is served,’ he told DailyMail.com. ‘I just want to live my life and, when it is all said and done, I hope that Jay Z would want to be a part of my life, if that is God’s will.
‘I won’t stop fighting for this until I win. And I will win because the law is on our side.’
Jay, who is father to children Blue Ivy, Rumi and Sir Carter with Beyonce, who he has been married to since 2008, has not spoken publicly about the claims.
His legal team told the publication in a letter: ‘The allegations have been previously reviewed thoroughly by the courts and have been refuted. I am sure that will be the outcome of whatever filings Mr Satterthwaite is may be currently considering [sic].’

Tina Turner revealed that she ‘wasn’t surprised’ by Jay Z’s reference to her abusive relationship with Ike Turner during his rap in Drunk In Love, in a candid interview before her death.
Following the news, fans have reflected on the singer’s 2013 hit, in which her husband rapped about the late singer’s abusive marriage to Ike – before she filed for divorce in 1976.
Tina made a rare comment about the lyric during a chat with the New York Times in 2019, and revealed that her record company alerted her to the reference.
According to the outlet, her response to the lyric in question was: ‘Yeah, I’m not surprised.’
In the track, Jay could be heard rapping: ‘I’m Ike Turner, turn up, baby no I don’t play.
‘Now eat the cake, Anna Mae. I said eat the cake, Anna Mae.’
The remark was in reference to the moment that Tina – who still went by Anna Mae at the time – was in a diner with her then-partner, when they were approached by fans, who asked for her autograph and reportedly ignored Ike.
Filled with jealousy after being overlooked, he forced cake in her mouth, telling her: ‘Eat the cake, Anna Mae’.
The well-documented moment was also included in What’s Love Got To Do With It, the 1993 biopic on the music legend’s career, starring Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburne.
Tina started out her own career after seeing Ike perform in local clubs, and became one of the backing singers for his group, The Kings of Rhythm.
She went on to front the band, which reformed to Ike And Tina Turner Revue, and they soon started dating.
They welcomed son Ronnie together in 1960, before marrying in Mexico two years later.
However, after enduring years of abuse in the relationship at the hands of her husband, Tina filed for divorce in July, 1976.
Bey, who is currently on tour in the UK, redesigned the front page of her website to honor the late musician, with a message reading: ‘My beloved queen. I love you endlessly. I’m so grateful for your inspiration and all the ways you have paved the way.
‘You are strength and resilience. You are the epitome of power and passion.
‘We are all so fortunate to have witnessed your kindness and beautiful spirit that will forever remain. Thank you for all you have done.’

Jess Glynne has revealed she skipped a meeting with Jay-Z… to have a new TV fitted.
The 33-year-old singer has recently signed to the rapper’s management company Roc Nation, but couldn’t make it to their first meeting as she was waiting in to have her television installed.
Discussing the moment she had to call the 53-year-old to cancel on him, the Hold My Hand singer said, ‘I was meant to meet him, but I was getting my TV fitted on the day.
‘I was in LA, and I was in a brand new apartment. I had loads of workmen delivering stuff and putting things in, and I was meant to be in the office.
‘I was like, “Ah yeah, I can’t make it.” Partially nerves but partially I had people fitting my TV.’
However, she added to The Sun that Beyoncé’s husband ‘found it funny.’
She said, ‘He laughed, he respected the fact I had to get my s*** together, you know. I was doing what real people do.’
Jess has recently returned to the music industry with the release of her single Silly Me, her first since a cover of Donny Hathaway’s This Christmas for Amazon Music in 2020.
She has since opened up on the ‘really dark space’ she was in before parting ways with her former record label Atlantic Records.
Jess continued, ‘It really was a very nerve-wracking time of my life. It was very brave and bold and I think you never know what the outcome is going to be when you make such big decisions.
‘But for me, I was at a point where a lot had happened in my life, and life is short.
‘It’s important to put happiness, mental health and greatness in front of you, rather than suppress it.’
Jess has been vocal about the ‘dark times’ she felt over the last couple of years, writing on Instagram back in April, ‘In 2021 I lost a friend in a really tragic way and it has changed the way I see and feel life.
‘I was deeply unhappy and I was so lost in my career and I felt trapped by people who didn’t believe in me during such a sensitive time.’
She added: ‘I made a decision to walk away from all that negativity and start again because I saw how short life is and how important it is to look after you.
‘This was probably one of the toughest, scariest things I have ever done and at the time I had no idea how it would work out but I had to put my happiness and my mental health first no matter what.
‘These past years have been the most trialling on me emotionally and physically but I feel as though they have made me the best version of myself.’
Bey has wowed crowds five times over at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with her UK dates also including Cardiff, Edinburgh, and Sunderland.
But before she gets back to what she does best across Europe, the Break My Soul hitmaker, 41, went off the grid for a dinner date with husband Jay Z, 53.
Beyoncé and the rapper posed with one of her favourite chefs as they dined at Mamo Michelangelo’s restaurant in Antibes, France.
Sitting at the table, the Single Ladies vocalist looked as pretty as ever in a patterned ensemble, with a beaming Jay on the other side.
Bey also went make-up free, letting her natural beauty shine through.
The celebrity-favourite chef captioned his post: ‘It’s always such a pleasure to welcome you both @beyonce and Jay-Z! 🫶🏻’
Mamo is a real hit with A-listers, as his Insta feed also features pics with stars such as The Weeknd, Jennifer Lawrence, and Harrison Ford.
Taking to the comments, fans were loving seeing Bey enjoying her chill time – but there was one thing in the photo their eyes were especially drawn to.
‘That Prada iphone case! 😍’, one fan commented because, yes, there Beyoncé does have a diamanté-studded Prada phone case. Of course she does.
‘She is the moment’, another commented and we agree.
‘The incomparable Beyoncé 👑👑👑’, another wrote.
It seemed the couple went all out for their loved-up dinner, as there were plenty of plates and wine glasses on their table.
Bey is set to perform in the likes of Barcelona, Cologne, and Brussels this month, before jetting back to the States and completing her tour in September.
But despite her recent outing to a swanky restaurant, it seems Queen Bey isn’t one to turn her nose up at fast food.
Have you seen Beyoncé on her Renaissance tour yet?Comment Now
Selling out Hotspur Stadium night after night, the Grammy winner splashed out on chicken burgers for a private event held after her final night on stage.
She reportedly ordered 50 Straight Up Burgers, 20 Korean Vegan Burgers, 75 Regular Fries and 200 Naked Chicken Tenders for her entourage in celebration of her London take-over.
After serving the star, Chicken Shop CEO John Nelson admitted it was a real ‘honour’ to provide food for the chart-topper’s after-party.
He told The Sun: ‘At Chicken Shop, we’re big fans of Beyonce and have watched in excitement as “Bey-mania” swept London this last week.
‘So it was an honour to know we were her fried chicken shop of choice when it came to satisfying the cravings of her guests at the Flannels exclusive event.’
The singer’s guests partied the night away at the Flannels X Beyoncé Renaissance pop-up shop on Oxford Street and we can only imagine how rowdy it got.

While one fan captured the Cuff It hitmaker sweetly filming Pharrell on his big day like a ‘proud mum’, another shared a video of her and the No Church In The Wild rapper bobbing along to the music next.
Another memorable moment showed Dune’s Zendaya and Queen Bey greeting each other at the Paris Fashion Week event, and fans went wild at the ultimate icon collision.
Aside from the viral moments that inevitably come whenever Beyoncé enters the room, some fans were particularly struck by her choice of eyewear.
We can’t decide whether we love them, hate them, respect them, or envy them – but one thing’s for sure, Beyoncé’s glasses are a statement, and perhaps the biggest shades we’ve ever seen.
But instead of looking like a bug, the Single Ladies singer of course looked epic.
The star coupled the huge shades with the most incredible gold-yellow two piece, which was giving some serious royal pyjama vibes.
The Queen looked fiercer than ever, as she attended the event with Jay-Z, who wore an elegant, pixilated black and brown suit and waistcoat over a crisp white shirt.
Fans took to social media to commend Beyoncé’s fashion prowess, while others gave a special shout-out to her glasses.
One person simply wrote, ‘5k snowboarding goggles,’ while another said: ‘Need those glasses.’
One admirer dubbed Beyoncé a ‘fashion queen’ while someone else said her look was ‘everything’.
‘Gold really is her colour,’ commented another, before adding: ‘I can’t stop looking at this picture.’
‘A classy effortless slay,’ said another fan.
Others weren’t so convinced at the glasses though, as one fan said: ‘Those glasses are horrible.’
Another commented that Beyoncé’s golden two-piece was a little like pyjamas – albeit very glamorous, very expensive ones.
‘Oh this new PJ set,’ they said.
But we wouldn’t blame Beyoncé if she did turn up to the event in a fluffy dog onesie and slippers, has she’s been super busy flying around the world on her epic Renaissance world tour.
Also at the event was a heavily pregnant Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, as well as Kim Kardashian – also rocking the pixilated look.
Meanwhile, F1 stars Lewis Hamilton and Pierre Gasly made an appearance, and as did Queen Bey’s ex-bandmate Kelly Rowland, as well as models Naomi Campbell and Miranda Kerr.

Over the past month, they’ve visited cities such as London, Amsterdam, Stockholm and Brussels, but it was Paris that really stole the couple’s heart.
In her latest Instagram post, Beyonce, 41, shared a series of snaps of their time in the city including one of her posing at their hotel with a cute silver balloon horse in honour of her Renaissance tour prop Reneigh.
Another playful photo shows her pretending to scoff a croissant in the French capital alongside a shot of Jay Z, 53, taken from behind as he looks over a stunning view of the city.
However, the cutest image of all shows Beyonce standing on their hotel balcony barefoot wearing an oversized hoodie with tracksuit bottoms as husband Jay Z plants a tender kiss on her head.
The couple, who married in 2008, are notoriously private and so fans lap up any affection they do see from the loved-up musicians.
‘The last pic,’ singer Yemi Alade commented referring to the sweet snap.
‘Last pic cause no makeup & she’s wigglin her toes,’ a fan noted about Beyonce’s giddy and relaxed demeanour.
Another weighed in: ‘Her man going to be in every last one of her post…and I love it… she loves him and it shows.’
‘Last slide is MOOD,’ one added.
Beyonce will now enjoy a few days break before kicking off the anticipated US leg of the Renaissance tour on July 8. She’ll first stop off in Toronto, Canada before then arriving in the States to play in cities such as Atlanta, New Orleans, Inglewood, Houston and Detroit.
The BeyHive are currently driving themselves wild with theories after spotting a possible clue about the next phase of the Renaissance era at one of Beyonce’s latest shows. Eagle-eyed fans spotted Echoville on the big screen on-stage and many now predict that could be the umbrella name for the music videos, Beyonce’s rumoured haircare brand or even the housing project she’s involved in with Kelly Rowland.
One thing’s for sure, we won’t find out until the queen is ready!

Beyonce is always stunning but her latest dress for an ultra glamorous night out with her family really wowed fans.
Taking a break from her Renaissance tour, the XO singer styled a deep plunging black dress, which featured silver details reminiscent of swirling waves or shells over her torso and shoulders.
She joined husband Jay Z, 53, and daughter Blue Ivy, 11, as the family dressed up for a dinner out ahead of the US leg of her Renaissance tour.
Beyonce completed her extravagant look with black opera gloves, sparkling dangling earrings and bracelet, and a sleek bun with her natural curls framing her face.
The 41-year-old added some bejewelled sunnies, which we don’t think she’ll be throwing into a crowd any time soon as they looked to be diamond-encrusted.
Blue Ivy joined her mum to pose in front of a red backdrop, wearing an a-symmetric green dress with ruching and side cut out.
Mirroring her mum’s jewellery she opted for some emerald green drop earrings and simple rings, with a glittering clutch bag.
Ever cool, she chose to bring her casual street style in with some platform heel Converse shoes.
Jay-Z opted for a dapper tuxedo and black bow tie, although he didn’t stop to pose in the mum-and-daughter photoshoot.
Always his cheerleader, Beyonce posted a short video of the pictures edited together with a TikTok sound created from a clip of her.
‘I’m happy I’m happy to see my husband,’ the remixed Beyonce says in the viral song, which was created by DJ Casa Di from a documentary interview with the Crazy In Love singer.
Fans went wild for her use of the sound, with Spotify commenting: ‘No way Beyonce used this audio 😭😭.’
‘This a bit too iconic for me,’ said one viewer while another added: ‘This truly convinced me she has a burner account and sees everything 💀.’
‘Crazy what Blue can do with CapCut and a trending sound,’ joked a fourth.
The Carters looked to be having a good time with Beyonce sharing a lovely picture of Jay Z in a studio laughing.
Beyonce was grinning ear to ear in some adorable snaps, possibly taken by her daughter, as she laughed and put her face in her hand.
She appeared to be seated next to her husband the whole evening, with her also sharing a video of them together on her story.
Fans have been living for the family dynamics as eldest daughter Blue has been coming on stage for the Renaissance tour, showing off her dancing skills.
Beyonce and Jay-Z have been married since 2008 and have three children together; Blue Ivy, and twins Rumi and Sir, both six.

Jay-Z and Beyonce raised eyebrows when they first unveiled their eldest daughter’s name as Blue Ivy, but it turns out they initially had a different moniker in mind.
The Empire State of Mind rapper, 53, shared a rare glimpse into fatherhood in a new interview with Gayle King, and spoke of how he and the Single Ladies singer, 42, settled on her unique title.
‘Her name was meant to be Brooklyn,’ he revealed in the CBS Mornings chat.
When asked whether they went with Blue because it’s his favorite color, he smiled: ‘I wish it was that simple.
‘It was supposed to be Brooklyn. That was the name we had in theory. When we got to the sonograms, she was super small there and we were calling her blueberry, like “Look at the little blueberry!”
‘It was a nickname for nine months. It was natural, we just took the berry off and called her Blue.’
Blue, 11, has become known for her hilarious antics over the years, and the moment she forced her famous parents to stop clapping during a speech at the Grammy Awards will live rent free in our minds forever.
‘Blue, she be fronting on me a little bit but I catch her,’ he continued. ‘Now she asks me if this is cool, her sneakers or whatever she’s wearing.
‘She’s come back but there was a time where she was like, [hides face] “Dad!” I was like, “I’m cool. I don’t know what you’re saying”.’
The Grammy-winner also heaped praise on his eldest daughter’s dancing efforts after she joined mom Beyonce on stage throughout her recent Renaissance tour – and was met with the biggest screams of the night.
‘I still get goosebumps seeing her walk on stage,’ he added. ‘Blue has been born into this world that she didn’t ask of, she’s been born into a life she didn’t ask of. So, since she was born, she’s been in scrutiny and the public eye, everyone having an opinion of a little girl, how she keeps her hair.
‘For her to be on that stage and reclaim her power, and the song is called My Power, you can’t write a better script. And then watching her grow in it. She came out to 80,000 people, she’s 11 so she’s nervous. I know her so I know how nervous she was, I know how frightened she was.
‘She wanted to do it the first night and we were like, “Okay, if this is something you want to do, you can’t just go out there, you’ve got to go work with the dancers and go work.” She worked every day. I watched her work hard. She had a little icy pack thing on her back some days.’
Thankfully, we’ll be able to see Blue hit the stage once again when the Renaissance World Tour film is released in cinemas worldwide, on December 1.
Bey fans, make sure to have your dance moves on point and your vocals on mute.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s birthday bash on Saturday was stacked full of artists and entertainers so it’s hardly surprising things got a little wild with Leo spitting bars.
A clip obtained by TMZ showed Leo letting loose, dressed casually in a black shirt, jeans, and baseball cap as he spat bars and jumped around with his friends.
While his celebrity pals appeared to enjoy the performance, fans weren’t so sure as one wrote: ‘I can’t bring myself to turn on the sound button omg.’
On Reddit, another scathed: ’49 year old goes to bar and raps into mic. If anyone else did this it would be considered so cringe.’
However, fans flooded the comments to defend the actor for his birthday antics saying ‘let him have fun.’
‘I don’t find this cringe. It’s his birthday party. He’s having fun and everyone is enjoying themselves,’ argued a fan.
Another said: ‘I was expecting a very cringey and uncomfortable moment and this wasn’t bad at all? He’s just having a fun silly time.’
The party at a private Beverly Hills mansion reportedly went on until the early hours with some guests looking a little worse for wear as they left.
With numerous high profile partygoers it’s no surprise the guest list was said to be ‘strictly enforced’ and in a rather awkward moment, one of the Titanic actor’s rumoured exes was said to be denied entry to the party.
Victoria Lamas, 24, was seen approaching but reportedly did not enter as she waited outside the venue dressed up in her black lace leggings, black bralette, and black blazer, with a friend beside her.
The daughter of actor Lorenzo Lamas, 65, and model Shauna Sand, 52, had been romantically linked to Leo around December last year after appearing to go on a date.
During this time, the Romeo and Juliet actor – who has a tendency to date women under 25 – was also linked to model Gigi Hadid, 28.
Leo is now said to be seeing model Vittoria Ceretti, 25, who is thought to have attended the party but hasn’t been pictured so far.
Taking the supposed snub in her stride, Victoria shared her trip to the cinema on Sunday with her friend via Instagram stories.
She shared: ‘We are watching a movie at the movie theatre like old souls – heartbreak feels good in a place like this.’
Awkward rumoured snubs aside, the party looked packed out with celebrities from all walks of Hollywood and, apparently, Essex as Chloe, 42, joined in the fun.
The TOWIE legend rocked the colour of the evening in a black floor length leather-look corset gown with sexy side split.
She rubbed shoulders with British icon Rita Ora, also glam in a black silky mini dress and black trench coat, fresh off her fashionable galavanting and Primark collab.
Her ‘Sex god’ and esteemed Marvel director hubby, Taika Waititi, 48, was also in attendance wearing an oversized black shirt and trouser set with matching jacket.
The Brit invasion gave way to American royalty as Queen B arrived with husband Jay Z, although they seem to have dodged cameras for a low key evening.
They weren’t the only ones avoiding pictures as the man of the hour, Leo, slipped into the house without being papped with new girlfriend Vittoria.
His secretive nature dropped away once he was inside, with sources telling the DailyMail the pair were packing on the PDA ‘throughout the night’.
Never far from a major celebrity gathering, Kim, 45, made an appearance, arriving on her own during her pledge to spend two years single – with rumours of a secret beau still flying.
Surprisingly not posting her likely glamorous fit, she was pictured in her car taking a moment of peace after a wild night of socialising.
She rocked a casual white T-shirt, bucking the black tie trend of others, while Chris wore a matching grey crewneck and black trousers, flashing a wide grin as he left.
People reported the wild party went on until 4am, with Leo ‘raised and carried around the room’ in celebration at one point – a happy birthday indeed.
Metro has reached out to Leo and Victoria’s representatives for comment.

Jay Z’s mother proved you’re never too old for love as she married her partner Roxanne Wilshire last weekend.
The nuptials took place in New York on Sunday evening and, of course, was a perfectly star-studded affair with Jay Z – real name Shawn Carter – leading the way like a proud son.
He was joined by wife Beyonce, 41, who was seen teetering along in skyscraper heels while holding onto daughter Blue Ivy, 11, for support. The two were suitably glam for the occasion in evening dresses, while the Break My Soul singer finished off her peach look with a feather wrap.
They made their way into the Manhattan venue alongside Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles-Lawson and the singer’s cousin Angie Beyince while her faithful bodyguard Julius cleared the path.
According to TMZ, other guests included Kelly Rowland, Tyler Perry, Robin Roberts and Corey Gamble and they certainly partied hard with the reception, which was held in Tribeca, wrapping up at around 1am.
As the evening drew to a close the newlyweds were seen leaving the party with Gloria dressed in a white suit, and Roxanne in a stunning gold and white shimmery dress.
Jay Z, 53, has been openly supportive of his mother’s sexuality since she came out as gay in his 2017 track Smile, which featured on his album 4:44. On the track, the Grammy-winning rapper reveals how Gloria spent years hiding the fact she was a lesbian while raising four children.
He also shared how happy he was when she found a partner, likely referring to Roxanne.
The music icon raps on the song: ‘Mama had four kids, but she’s a lesbian/Had to pretend so long that she’s a thespian/Had to hide in the closet, so she medicate/Society shame and the pain was too much to take.
‘Cried tears of joy when you fell in love/Don’t matter to me if it’s a him or her/I just wanna see you smile through all the hate/Marie Antoinette, baby, let ’em eat cake.’
The 99 Problems hitmaker dished further on Gloria’s sexuality during an interview on David Letterman’s Netflix series My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, writing: ‘Imagine having to live your life as someone else and you think you’re protecting your kids.
‘For her to sit in front of me and tell me “I think I love someone”, I really cried… I cried because I was so happy for her that she was free.’

But right now Beyonce has a bit of down time to enjoy, and she’s choosing to spend it living like a, er, Brit.
While most of us London dwellers rock around in jeans – or, post-pandemic, anything stretchy, really – and a T-shirt, Beyonce is channelling a slightly more romanticised version of Britain in her recent outfit choices.
The megastar was snapped exploring the capital in the cutest suit we ever did see.
Not only that, but the Cuff It singer looked amused as her rapper husband Jay-Z sipped on a dainty cup of tea in a lift, nodding to the British past time.
This is absolutely iconic, and we love the pair’s commitment to having a, er, cultural experience while here.

One particularly touristy snap showed the London Eye in all its grainy glory in a picture seemingly taken out a window.

Our Queen Bey must really love it here if she’s embracing tweed, tea and tourism like this.

Beyonce and Blue Ivy Carter were spotted in the crowd of Jay Z’s Paris gig as the superstar rents out the La Defense Arena to rehearse for her Renaissance tour.
The music superstar, 41, was seen enjoying her rapper husband, 53, performing at Fondation Louis Vuitton alongside the couple’s daughter, Blue Ivy, 11.
The Empire State Of Mind star performed an array of his best hits at the venue to open the Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat exhibit.
It comes as Queen Bey is well underway rehearsing for her eagerly-anticipated world Renaissance tour in the French capital.
The highly-anticipated extravaganza marks the hitmaker’s first run of UK live performances since her On the Run tour – which made 48 stops across North America and Europe in 2018.
‘The structure for the stage is gigantic and on a totally different scale from any other tour right now – that’s why she needed a huge venue to rehearse in,’ a source told The Sun.
‘And she can’t run through the show in any of the stadiums she is performing in because they aren’t soundproofed and people would hear what she was preparing.
‘She is on top form and is pulling out all the stops to make this a truly groundbreaking tour.’
Recently, the singer and Adidas have reportedly cut ties after a major decline in sales.
As reported by the Wall Street Journal, Ivy Park had been expected to bring in around $250 million (£205 million) in 2022.
However, it ended up raking in just over $40 million (£32 million) – a major drop from 2021’s haul of $93 million (£76 million).
TMZ reported that the star and sportswear company have ‘mutually agreed’ to part ways after the disappointing turnover.

‘You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel.’
The mom-of-three will next be taking her party over to Boston on Tuesday as the US leg of her tour continues, before hitting up Washington, Atlanta and Miami.
Mayor Ed Gainey addressed the show’s axing in a statement which read: ‘Pittsburgh – we are deeply disappointed in the news that Beyonce has cancelled her performance on August 3.
‘We were fully prepared to welcome her to Pittsburgh and honor her with an official day recognizing her visit and accomplishments.
‘We are in conversations with the promoter for the event in order to gain an understanding about what led to the cancellation, and if there is anything we can do as a city to find a new date or location for her show.’

It’s a dangerous time to be named Becky or Jolene. Following the release of Beyoncé’s newest album, Cowboy Carter, fans are once again speculating about the identity of the other woman in Beyoncé’s life.
‘Becky with the good hair’ has long been believed to be a reference to the woman Beyoncé’s husband, rapper and music mogul Jay Z, cheated on her with.
Queen Bey first referenced Becky on her 2016 album Lemonade, singing on the track Sorry: ‘He only want me when I’m not there / He better call Becky with the good hair / He better call Becky with the good hair.’
The line led to an Internet frenzy, with online sleuths certain they could figure out Jay-Z’s mistress’s identity from the hints in that line alone.
No one ever found out for sure who Beyoncé was referencing, and it seemed like we might never know. Until Cowboy Carter dropped.
Eight years later, people are once again on the hunt for Becky after Dolly Parton herself references Becky on the new album, reigniting the online fervour.
The iconic singer recorded an intro for Beyoncé’s reimagining of her classic hit Jolene in which she says: ‘Hey miss Honey B, it’s Dolly P. You know that hussy with the good hair you sang about? Reminding me of someone I knew back when, except she has flaming locks of auburn hair, bless her heart. Just a hair of a different color but it hurts just the same.’
Given the controversial reworked lyrics of the song, it seems clear that the same woman Beyoncé referenced in 2016 may very well be the same one she’s warning away from her man on Jolene, which was recorded in 2019.
A famous anthem for women who suspect their men of infidelity, Dolly reportedly wrote Jolene about a woman who worked at a bank and regularly flirted with her husband, Carl Thomas Dean.
Parton told NPR in 2008: ‘She got this terrible crush on my husband. And he just loved going to the bank because she paid him so much attention. It was kinda like a running joke between us—when I was saying, “Hell, you’re spending a lot of time at the bank. I don’t believe we’ve got that kind of money.” So it’s really an innocent song all around, but sounds like a dreadful one.’
Beyoncé’s notorious rival has much more explosive origins. Before the album’s release in 2016, speculation that Jay Z may have had an affair was already circulating. Lemonade seemed to confirm the rumours, telling the story of a marriage rocked by infidelity brought back from the brink of collapse.
Jay Z told his side of the story on his 2017 album 4:44. ‘Yeah I’ll f**k up a good thing if you let me,’ the rapper says on the track Family Feud. He continues: ‘Let me alone Becky.’
Several theories emerged in the wake of the famous couple’s lyrical hints, and some people are sure they know the identity of the other woman who, having now suffered Dolly Parton’s wrath as well as Beyoncé’s, can’t seem to catch a break.
Here are fans’ theories about the identity of Jay-Z’s notorious alleged mistress.
Rachel Roy
Fashion designer Rachel Roy, 50, was reportedly seen talking to Beyoncé’s sister, Solange Knowles, before Solange’s notorious confrontation with Jay in an elevator. This contributed to rumours that Roy had an extramarital affair with the rapper, leading Solange to confront Jay in defence of her sister when she found out.
This theory was further fuelled by a post Roy made following the release of Lemonade. Taking to Instagram after Sorry dropped, she wrote: ‘Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always.’
She later denied the rumours in a statement: ‘I want to put the speculation and rumours to rest. My Instagram post was meant to be fun and lighthearted, it was misunderstood as something other than that. There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumors.’
Gwyneth Paltrow
In 2018, rapper and internet personality Amber Rose, 40, created rumours that Gwyneth Paltrow, 51, was the unnamed other woman, saying on the podcast Make Speidi Famous Again: ‘I definitely think that Gwyneth Paltrow is Becky with the good hair. I really feel like she’s the one who was, like, f*****g Jay-Z. They were like friends, and then, like, you don’t see Gwyneth Paltrow with Beyoncé anymore. But like Beyoncé’s still with Jay.’
Gwyneth’s team were quick to call the rumours false, and the Goop mogul herself later responded to a fan who mentioned the controversy, writing: ‘WHAT??? Of course not, that is ABSURD. Good lord.’
Rita Ora
In 2016, it seemed that no one was safe from Becky allegations. Popstar Rita Ora, 33, shared a photo of herself in a lemon-printed bra while wearing a necklace that appeared to have an initial J on it.
She later hit back at the rumours, saying on Louis Theroux Interviews…, ‘Oh my god, it literally was a coincidence. I didn’t even think about it, I swear. And it wasn’t a J, it was an R. They flipped it ’round and then it looked like a J.’
Diana Gordon weighs in
Sorry co-writer Diana Gordon eventually weighed in on the drama, claiming that Becky was never a specific person as far as she knew.
She told Harper’s Bazaar of the conspiracy theories, ‘She [Beyoncé] has her own reasons for doing things,’ she said. ‘If Becky was somebody to her, I had no idea who it was. I just thought it was funny that everybody was like, “Who is it?” like it was this personal person that we all knew about. I was just laughing.’
She clarified that while the ‘good hair’ part of the moniker may seem specific, to her it was a reference to colourism within the Black community.
She said: ‘To me, it was nobody. To me, when I was thinking about my song, it was Jolene from the Dolly Parton song. It was a metaphor, too. “With the good hair,” just meant like you’re dating a light-skinned black girl, because “good hair” is just what we say in the Black community for women who have not-so-kinky hair. It’s like, “Oh, she got good hair. It’s curly, it’s wavy.” It’s just a metaphor for the lighter skin colourism thing in the Black community.’
The multiple women theory
Many people continue to speculate that Beyoncé’s Jolene and Becky with the good hair aren’t specific references to individuals but rather monikers meant to denote a mistress generally.
It’s possible that Beyoncé didn’t find out about a specific affair of her husband’s but rather a general trend of womanizing behaviour.
Jay Z himself lent some credence to this theory, rapping, ‘I apologize, often womanize,’ on the song 4:44. ‘Took for my child to be born/ See through a woman’s eyes/ Took for these natural twins to believe in miracles/ Took me too long for this song/ I don’t deserve you.’
Still, this hasn’t kept fans from speculating on social media, with many certain that Jolene and ‘Becky with the good hair’ must be the same person.
While we may never know for sure who she is, if we were Jolene/Becky with the good hair, we’d certainly be watching our backs.

Taking to the Stade de France in a glittering silver long-sleeved top and shiny cargo pants, and decked in some oval sunglasses, Blue was an absolute vibe.
We can see traces of both her rapper dad and Queen Bey in the little star, as she nailed the choreography to My Power from The Lion King, looking super chilled, as her mum rocked out on top of a car behind her.
The crowd went wild as on the lyric, ‘This that bloodline,’ Blue entered the stage and danced her socks of next to the Crazy In Love hitmaker.
‘Give it up for Blue,’ Beyoncé said as her daughter took to the stage, to a whooping audience.
Just, you know, a casual family day out – in front of 80,000 people.
Fans were, naturally, loving the mother-daughter moment, as one said: ‘Nerves of steel for this young lady. The sheer amount of courage it takes to be on stage with her mom and in front of huge audiences.. she did amazing.’
Another wrote: ‘Me looking at Blue Ivy dancing thinking where is she – because I thought I was watching Beyoncé dancing! When I really did see Bey up top I was like OMG! Blue Ivy is everything rn!’
‘So cute calm and nonchalant!!! Love this!!’ wrote another, as someone else commented: ‘That’s dope as hell.’
The musical pair also share five-year-old twins Rumi and Sir.
The Cuff It singer’s epic tour is promoting her seventh studio album, Renaissance, and is reportedly going to earn the artist £1.6bn.
The highly-anticipated tour will also mark Bey’s first run of UK live performances since her On the Run tour in 2018.
After Paris, Bey is heading back to the UK to perform five shows at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on May 29 and 30, and June 1, 3, and 4.

Beyonce’s children have continued sharing the spotlight with her on the Renaissance World Tour, with her youngest daughter Rumi Carter the latest to win everyone over with her adorable antics.
It’s been an eventful tour so far with her eldest child Blue Ivy, 11, performing with her most nights, Queen Bey helping with a gender reveal on-stage, and fan-favourite track Drunk In Love mysteriously being dropped from the setlist.
Oh, and who can forget Beyonce hilariously fluffing the iconic tongue-twisting outro of Heated – ‘Coco Canel’, we’ll never forget.
On Sunday, the Grammy-winning hitmaker was once again watched by husband Jay Z, 53, and their daughters Blue Ivy and six-year-old Rumi, the latter of who has been kept largely out of the spotlight alongside her twin brother Sir.
Well, Rumi was clearly loving her time in the spotlight as she watched her superstar mum on stage, and even singing some of the lyrics back much to the delight of her dad.
In a clip shared on social media, Beyonce is heard saying ‘hey, Mrs Carter’, prompting Rumi to repeat it back along with a sweet wave to her mum as proud dad Jay Z watched with a smile on his face.
Other footage shows Rumi playing with Jay Z’s long hair and tapping big sister Blue to join in.
Rumi and Sir, who recently celebrated their sixth birthday on June 13, are rarely seen in public as Blue typically tends to make public appearances with their parents. So far on the tour, Blue has been a regular fixture as she joins Beyonce to perform dance choreography for the song Power.
Fans have supported the youngster fans have been impressed by the youngster’s talent and noted how she has grown in confidence since the Renaissance shows began in May, performing to tens of thousands at each concert.
The Renaissance World Tour will take a short break before resuming in Hamburg, Germany on June 21.

Joined also by her own mom Tina Knowles, Bey looked in high spirits as she dined at venture capitalist Aviv Nevo’s luxury home.
Dressed in casual attire, the Crazy in Love hitmaker sported denim jeans, a cream bohemian-style blouse, and a colourful bucket hat.
But as Beyoncé greeted her A-list guests on the balcony, she was seen carrying her shoes in her hand, clearly having already had enough of them – what a relatable queen.
Meanwhile, hubby Jay sported a baggy white shirt as he lit up a cigar under the LA sunshine.
As for momager Kris, the media personality, 67, appeared deep in conversation with fellow party guests as she sat at a table with drinks and nibbles.
The group sat in a secluded spot for the ultimate chilled vibe, in stark contrast to Beyoncé’s 2022 bday party, with a guest list including Drake, Zendaya, and several other Kardashians.
Naturally, Beyoncé has been inundated with birthday messages on social media, with fans and celebrities all taking the time to celebrate her.
Former First Lady Michelle Obama tweeted: ‘Happy birthday, Bey! Your talent and music has brought so much joy to all of our lives. You’re truly one-of-one, and I’m just so proud of you!’
Nicki Minaj posted on her Instagram Story: ‘Make some noise for the mthfkn Queen Bey!!! Happy Birthday BarBEY’.
Sharing the ultimate throwback snap, Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland and Bey’s bestie said: ‘Til the Wheels Fall Off!! I Love You!!! HAPPY BORNDAY B!’
Describing what we were all thinking, mom Tina dropped the comment underneath: ‘Do you know I want to cry every time I see y’all together I love you guys so much sisters for life ❤️’
Beyoncé has attracted countless celebrities to her tour in recent months, so we can only imagine how much her phone has been blowing up today, especially as she gears up to throw the ultimate birthday bash on stage tonight.
The latest stars to attend the Renaissance Tour included actor Pedro Pascal, who attended with Sarah Paulson.

Representing Beyoncé fans good and proper, the TV star freaked out as he caught a glimpse of her, unable to contain his screams.
Well, Meghan boogied, Harry became a meme as the internet laughed over her stern expression.
Despite looking rather overwhelmed, though, the Duke of Sussex adhered to the dress code, with both him and Meghan donning silver as requested by the woman herself.
Beyoncé made the request on her official website ahead of her birthday, sharing her wish for this year.
‘My birthday wish is to celebrate with you wearing your most fabulous silver fashions to the shows 8.23 – 9.22,’ she wrote.
‘We’ll surround ourselves in a shimmering human disco ball each night.’
Topping things off, we had Selena Gomez who joined her besties and married couple Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz-Beckham for the night out to end all nights out at SoFi Stadium.
Following her birthday extravaganza, Beyoncé will take her Renaissance Tour to Vancouver, Canada on September 11.

It looks like the film – titledRenaissance: A Film by Beyoncé – is going to be an peek inside the epic world tour, which wrapped up in Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium last night.
Parkwood Entertainment and AMC Entertainment announced the film will premiere on December 1 in North American cinemas.
Pre-sale tickets are now open for US cinema chains including AMC, Regal and Cinemark, all of which will showcase the documentary. It is not clear when the movie will come to UK cinemas like Vue and Odeon.
Jay-Z and Bey’s 11-year old-daughter Blue Ivy also appears on the trailer as she has delighted fans by appearing on stage with her mother for the sell-out tour, busting some impressive shapes. As you do.
Up Next
Now the world will get a backstage pass into the mother-daughter tour in this upcoming documentary film by the woman herself.
It isn’t clear where or when the film will be dropped yet outside the US, as pointed out by a very over-excited Australian comic Celeste Barber in the comments of the trailer.
‘WHEN? WHERE? HOW?’ she wrote, while rapper Yung Miami did some serious fangirling as she said: ‘BEYONCÉ THANK YOU QUEEN!!!!! THE INSPIRATION.’
But many noticed a big difference in this film announcement to other Beyoncé posts – she actually wrote a caption. Hold our phones.
The Single Ladies hitmaker captioned the post with: ‘Be careful what you ask for, ‘cause I just might comply.’
One person commented on this, as they said: ‘Damn we even got an IG caption… It’s definitely ON like how the mic was ON!!!’
Another excitable fan noted, ‘You know it’s real when she has a caption,’ while another said: ‘Girl you really just don’t stop with the surprise element huh?’
It’s safe to say, everyone’s excited. And with good reason, as the trailer makes the film look totally iconic, and seriously empowering.
The atmospherically grainy trailer begins with footage of Queen Bey blowing a cool kiss to the camera, before launching into other behind-the-scenes clips of the tour, including a glimpse of talented Blue in rehearsals with her famous mum.
‘When I am performing, I am nothing but free,’ Beyoncé can be heard saying in the voiceover.
The film looks set to show the highs and lows of the Renaissance tour, as one photo sees the Cuff It hitmaker looking defeated in a facemask, while another sees her strutting into a helicopter looking characteristically fierce.
‘The goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free and no one is judged,’ she continued, with footage of fans having a blast, crying, and hugging in the audience.
‘Unique,’ Bey continued. ‘Start over, start fresh, create the new. That’s what Renaissance is about.’
Meanwhile snappy footage of rehearsals, pre-show preparation, as well as a bustling stadium time-lapse can be seen, before the trailer launches into the show beginning.
‘We dress a certain way, we walk a certain way, we talk a certain way, we paint a certain way, we make love a certain way,’ Beyoncé’s empowering voiceover continued over the tour footage.
‘At any point they could close their eyes and be right back there and take it with them,’ Queen Bey continued, referring to the fans, before a quick montage of some of her most epic tour outfits and husband Jay-Z fangirling in the audience.
‘I feel liberated, I have transitioned into a new animal,’ Beyoncé declared in a stripped-back self-facing video taken on the road.
The title of the film, Renaissance, snaps on the screen and to end the trailer Beyoncé’s voice is heard saying: ‘All of those things that we do in a different, unique, specific way.’
‘A film by Beyoncé,’ it concluded.
Well we can’t wait for this, whenever and wherever it may come. We’re ready, Bey!

Beyonce was full of pride after eldest daughter Blue Ivy made her debut on stage during last week’s Renaissance tour.
The Cuff It singer, 41, shares children Blue, Rumi and Sir with husband Jay Z, and the family have been with their mom every step of the way during her current world tour.
The youngster was met with screams from the audience as she nailed the choreography to My Power while dressed in a silver sequined long-sleeve top, which she paired with silver trousers.
Following in her mother’s famous footsteps, she put on a show during the brief cameo and didn’t miss a single beat.
Bey couldn’t get enough of the sweet moment, and shared a few clips on Instagram for those of us who weren’t lucky enough to be in the audience.
‘My beautiful first born. I’m so proud and thankful to be your mama,’ she wrote alongside the footage. ‘You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel.’
Fans were living for the post, and flooded the comments section with praise for Blue’s efforts on stage.
‘CRYING. BLUE BLUE DID SO GOOD,’ an Instagram follower yelled.
A commenter agreed ‘Blu was clean on that choreography! [sic].’
One penned: ‘Blue finna be on top! Can’t wait to see her shine. Love seeing the boff of y’all! [sic].’
Referencing Beyonce’s latest single, a follower added: ‘Love that she’s fearless & looking to be another problem that America will have!’
Although this isn’t the first time Blue has shared the stage with the Oscar-nominee – as she popped up in Dubai earlier this year – hopefully, this won’t be the last we see of the youngster during the Renaissance era.
She will appear in Philadelphia in July for the US performances, and her tour will end in New Orleans in September.

It’s not everyday Londoners are wandering around Mayfair, but if you did last night you might have bumped into quite the scene.
Outside Private Members Club Oswald’s in Mayfair, a group of Hollywood’s brightest stars congregated for a bite to eat.
That’s right, Queen Beyonce arrived in the most gorgeous, striking outfit we ever did see, ahead of the London premiere of her Renaissance film.
Followed closely by Jay-Z, the star strutted her stuff with some assistance from security, naturally, as the Empire State of Mind rapper signed vinyls for fans like a big old sweetie.
If that wasn’t enough hump day excitement, who also emerged to join the party but Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise and The Witcher’s Henry Cavill. Talk about a casual night out, guys.
The Cuff It hitmaker, 42, stunned in an oversized cream coat, a cosy neck and head-hugging white top, and some glorious white flares, with brilliant pointy shoes of the same colour adding a definite Queen Bey edge to the look.
Of course the star wore some neat dark sunglasses for the bright evening lights of the big smoke. If she didn’t we might not have known it was Beyoncé.
Jay-Z also wore some dark shades, and looked casual but cool in a black hoodie, long coat, and oversized beanie hat with some fresh white trainers. Maybe there’s a nip in the air of late because the coolest parents in the world just touched down on UK shores. Just saying.
Meanwhile, 40-year-old Henry looked smart in a reddish-brown jacket, a blue shirt and a yellow tartan tie giving serious ‘it was my dad’s in the 80s’ vibes.
And then came 61-year-old Tom, who looked dapper as ever in a black shirt and suit, as is often his get up. He seemed jolly as he also interacted with fans outside the exclusive establishment – while mountains of traffic queued up behind the chaos.
In a video of the scene, in which Tom seemed to bring London to somewhat of a standstill, an onlooker said: ‘Did he buy the street? I don’t give a f**k about Tom Cruise.’
In the hilarious clip, a cab driver also seemed to get a little upset at the blockage, while Tom happily got pictures with fans and had a laugh. What a champ.
Little did the annoyed road-users know, Beyoncé was also in town…
Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé’s premiere was held on Saturday night in Los Angeles and fans were stunned by the superstar singer’s appearance as she wore a platinum blonde hair and a silvery, ever-so Renaissance, dress for the occasion.
Her upload was set to Bey’s hit song Brown Skin Girl.
Tina wrote: ‘Came across this today and decided to post it after seeing all of the stupid ignorant self, hating racist statements about her, lightening her skin, and wearing platinum hair wanting to be white.’
She went on: ‘She does a film, called the renaissance, where the whole theme is silver with silver hair, a silver carpet, and suggested silver attire and you bozos decide that she’s trying to be a white woman and is bleaching her skin?’
‘Duh,’ continued Tina.
‘She wore silver hair to match her silver dress as a fashion statement clown. ALIEN Superstar duh!’
Mum-of-two Tina went on to say that she was ‘sick and tired’ of people ‘attacking’ Beyoncé, who she said ‘minds her own business … helps people whenever she can [and] lifts up & promotes black women and underdogs at all times’.

Jay Z used his own acceptance speech at the Grammys 2024 to blast the awards for snubbing his wife Beyonce.
The rap legend, 54, received the Dr Dre global impact award highlighting his achievements in music, and was joined on stage by his and Beyonce’s eldest daughter Blue Ivy, 12.
However, Jay Z – real name Shawn Carter – did not hold back in calling out the Grammys for Beyonce, 42, being the most awarded artist yet never winning the prestigious album of the year gong.
‘We want y’all to get it right. We love y’all, we love y’all, we just want y’all to get it right. At least get it close to right,’ he said on-stage at the Crypto.com Arena on Sunday night.
‘Obviously it’s subjective because, you know, it’s music, and it’s opinion-based, but some things… I don’t want to embarass this young lady, but she has more Grammys than everyone and never won album of the year!’
Jay Z, who has now won 24 Grammys, continued: ‘So even by your own metrics, that doesn’t work. Think about that. The most Grammys, never won album of the year. That doesn’t work. Some of you are gonna go home tonight and feel like you’ve been robbed. Some of you may get robbed. Some of you don’t belong in the category.’
After a reaction from the audience, he added: ‘Nah, nah, nah. When I get nervous I tell the truth!
He was later filmed drinking out of his Grammy award in celebration.
Beyonce has received the most Grammy Awards ever with 32 to her name.
Drake seemed to agree with Jay Z’s sentiments as he expressed his own gripe with the Grammys on Instagram while the show was going on.
The Canadian rapper wrote: ‘All you incredible artists remember this show isn’t the facts – it’s just the opinion of a group of people whose names are kept a secret.
‘Literally. You can Google it. Congrats to anybody winning anything for hip hop, but this show doesn’t dictate s**t in our world.’
Last year, fans were fuming when Beyonce failed to win album of the year for her groundbreaking album Renaissance, controversially losing out to Harry Styles’ Harry’s House. Her previous albums including Lemonade and the self-titled Beyonce also lost out despite being tipped to win.
Taylor triumphed again this year, winning album of the year for Midnights, making her the first artist to win in the category four times.
Beyonce made a surprise appearance at the awards on Sunday evening, and looked to be in her Renaissance cowgirl era wearing a white cowgirl hat, black jacket and shorts. She was seen kissing Jay Z before he made his way to accept his award.
There was drama backstage at this year’s Grammys with rapper Killer Mike arrested and taken into police custody moments after winning three awards in the rap categories.
